Robin Scorpio's PDD is one of Kimberly McCullough's best work as Robin! When I initially heard about the storyline, I had mixed emotions. As a long time fan of Robin's, I was excited for Robin to get a storyline of her own and nervous because I feared the storyline would be done at the expensive of Robin's character which has so often been the case. However, I've been pleasantly surprised. The combination of decent writing and Kimberly's outstanding performance has turned Robin's PDD into must watch t.v. How can you not have a knot in your throat when Robin said, "You're such a beautiful baby. I don't deserve to have such a beautiful baby." Robin's anguish, fear and heartbreak is palpable not just in her words, but in her body language and eyes. The best part for me though is that storyline isn't about Robin being saved by her current love or Robin saving her current love. Ultimately (if the writers do it right), the s/l will be about Robin saving Robin for the sake of Emma. The baby she was willing to give up her love and her life to bring into the world. I agree.
